Fans descend heavily on Kuami Eugene for lying about his Zara sneakers

Ever since he started gaining notoriety with his music by the Ghanaian populace, there has never been a dull moment when it comes to the fashion sense of Lynx Entertainment singer and songwriter Kuami Eugene.

Gradually impressing fans with his fashion flair, Kuami Eugene, has set social media ablaze again with various reactions for allegedly lying about a new pair of Zara sneakers he purchased.

In a video posted by Eugene Osafo Nkansah, known as Konkonsa, the Angela singer, seen wearing some gold chains around his neck and arms, said, he is wearing Zara sneakers that cost him US$700 dollars.

“This is Zara, it is not bad, and I think I bought it at US$700 dollars,” Eugene told Konkosa in the short video.

However, fans and social media users are dismayed by how the musician could fabricate lies to the public without intellectually assessing himself.

According to them, on Zara’s collection page on Instagram, the black, white and red sock-style high sneakers is sold at $89.90 which is equivalent to GH¢489.

Further checks confirmed the real price of the sneaker which Kuami Eugene claimed he bought at a whopping GH¢3800 is just Gh¢489.
