Manchester United have an injury crisis ahead of their clash against Liverpool on Sunday as they currently have 12 players battling injuries.
David De Gea was the latest of the lot to suffer an injury after going out of Spain’s clash against Sweden with a muscle injury. Liverpool, however, are enjoying different fortunes with Alisson, Joel Matip and Mohamed Salah all fit to play after suffering injuries.
Here are the 12 injury concerns for United, David De Gea, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Mason Greenwood, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Eric Bailly and Diogo Dalot.
There was some good news for United in the 1-1 draw between Spain and Sweden and it came in the shape of Victor Lindelof getting through 90 minutes after missing the 1-0 defeat against Newcastle United. Greenwood was selected to play for England’s Under-21s in the international break but pulled out with a back problem.
Diogo Dalot hobbled off at Newcastle but looks to have a chance of being included in the United matchday squad for Liverpool.
