I would have still performed if SM fans fired gunshots at me – Kwaw Kese

I would have still performed if SM fans fired gunshots at me – Kwaw Kese

Music, at its essence, is what gives us memories and the Wonderboy album launched on 19th October, 2019 by Dancehall king, Shatta Wale will go down in history as one of the memorable nights for Shatta movement family, organisers, patrons and music fanatics.

The night witnessed splendid performances from top Ghanaian artiste like Wendy Shay, Medikal, Becca, Kwaw Kese and many more.

Kwaw Kese, as usual, delivered an amazing performance but did not have it easy as some fans of Shatta Wale threw bottles at him during his performance. The reason for this action is based on the fact that Kwaw Kese and the SM boss have not had the best of relationship in recent times.

Reacting to the incident at the fantasy dome, Sammy Kay caught up with the “Abodam” man on the Go online show to narrate what really happened. He said after his first music performance on the night he received a standing ovation from the crowd but realised three persons in the crowd threw water bottles at him and also started sprinkling water at the crowd, got him incensed and made him jab them for their actions, according to him the jab he gave did not go down well with some section of the crowd that made them throw more bottles at him on stage but that did not deter him from executing the job on the night which was to finish performing according to the agreement made between management of SM and his team.

According to Kwaw, if Gun bullets were even targeted at him, he would have escaped to still complete the performance on the night. He said he has no “beef” with Shatta Wale that is why he honoured the invitation sent to him.
