As a company, and I believe same as the NGO we have partnered that, when you give, you feel the pleasure of knowing that you are contributing to the life and welfare of parents (Aged) who directly or indirectly have helped served humanity in various forms before growing old. These are people who do not have enough energy or strength to do many things to care for their lives hence genuinely need the help us.
We believe and can be rest assured that as give packages like ‘Fully paying National Health Insurance Scheme – either a new subscription or renewal, free health screening and advisory, dinning and wining, business ideas and coaching, stress management talk and many more. Will bring great relief and impart to these aged persons. This will rebuild the power of hope and happiness into their lives to their maker calls them to glory.
This program comes off on the 26th of December, 2019, at The Church of Pentecost, Israel District, Peace Assembly auditorium. And for about 450 widows and aged above 55 years will be gathered from Israel, Sowutuom, Alhaji – Tabora communities.
We are all encouraged to join forces with us make a profound impact in the lives of these oppressed aged. Not only are we giving them hope – this program will also be opening doors to new possibilities for these families. Everyone can positively impact if they decide to, and every donation, of whatever magnitude, can change lives and this is what we want to do this December.
Widows continue to suffer dispossession, poverty, inadequate health care, limited economic opportunities and marginalisation, in such a way that threatens their own life ahead, future of their children and future generations sometimes. We can however, as individuals, or as collective bodies, take steps to ensure the livelihood of widows and their families helped or supported.
Proverbs 22:9 Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.
Luke 16:19-31 “There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side… Isaiah 58:10 If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.
We pray that the Lord God will continue to comfort , strengthen and support each and every widow and aged.
