Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has denied responding to a circulating video allegedly involving him and a landowner at TseAdo, a suburb in Accra.
An audio released by host of ‘The Seat’, a Net2 TV current affairs programme sought to suggest that Anas had reacted to the video.
Checks by www.ghanaweb.com have revealed that the audio, which is an interview between the Net 2 presenter, Kwaku Annan and the Tiger Eye P.I reporter is an old one dating back to over 3 years ago.
Lawyer to Anas, Samuel Darko, confirmed that his client has not addressed the issue as well as the video in circulation about the TseAdo land. He noted that Anas Aremeyaw Anas has not spoken to the former Hot FM journalist in about 3 years.
Host of ‘The Seat’, Kwaku Annan, released a conversation with Anas Aremeyaw Anas on a land litigation issue between the latter and a citizen. In the audio, it was alleged that the investigative journalist was ‘controlling’ the military and using the security apparatus to threaten and sack the owner of a land at TseAdo in Accra.
