Multiple reports in the local Ghanaian media indicate that plans are far advanced for the Ghana Football Association to appoint former Normalization Committee member Naa Odofoley Nortey to head the legal committee of the Association.
Naa Odofoley was the lead legal brain of the erstwhile Normalization committee, and received lots of plaudits for her role in the run up to the Ghana FA elections.
Following widespread public commendations for her role in the operations of the NC, sources within the FA indicate Madam Odofoley has already began working on some legal matters involving the Association and other parties.
It is believed Madam Odofoley’s eminent appointment stems from an earlier election promise she received.
The Ghana football Association has started forming committees to steer the affairs of its activities, and the legal committee is seen as a strategic committee as the FA seeks to revamp its operations and relationships with third parties.
