Next time, slap and drag out Owusu Bempah - NDC’s Yayra Koku charges

National Democratic Congress activist, Yayra Koku has charged aides of former president John Mahama, to go beyond confrontation and met out slaps, as well drag out the founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, the next time they encounter him.

The comments by the NDC member follows an altercation between an aide of the former president and the man of God at a church event over the weekend.

Reports indicate Rev Owusu Bempah on his way out of the church after seeking leave tried to engage the former president in a pleasantry exchange.

But before Rev Bempah could reach out to the former president, an aid jumped in to prevent him from reaching Mr Mahama. The incident as seen in a video by GhanaWeb.com is said to have caused an embarrassing scene which resulted in a brief halt to activities at the church.

Reacting to the incident on his facebook wall, Yayra Koku posted “You were not invited to the programme. The moment you heard JM was around you just came there to fool just because your church is close to where the programme was taking place. Next time the security should just slap him and drag him out.”

To the members of the NDC and sympathiser of former president Mahama, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, who prior to the 2016 general elections prophesized a lose for the NDC government is fast becoming an enemy.

The elevation of the status of the man of God into an enemy of the lovers of John Mahama follows his subsequent prophesies negating the chances of the former president, who is the flagbearer of the NDC in winning the 2020 general elections.

Yayra Koku is known to have professed his dislike for Rev Owusu Bempah, who has been criticised by members of the NDC as being a sympathiser of President Akufo-Addo and his NPP government.
