How Stonebwoy and Medikal’s concert ended major industry ‘beefs’

Sometimes, a second chance and peace of mind are worth a shot.

Some Ghanaian celebrity rivals, such as Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Medikal, Strongman, Fella Makafui and Deborah Vanessa have proven that a break or fight is necessary to strengthen a relationship.

Their feuds over a period of time have been on a completely different level. Their personal businesses have been put on blast for the World to see, and in the process, have become the talk of the entire town.

However, these celebrities who in most instances have thrown public shades at each other, engaged in physical fights, and recorded “diss tracks” have decided to make amends.

For that matter, they put up a public display of reconciliation on stage during two major musical concerts (Welcome to Sowutuom and Ashiaman to the world) over the weekend.

Here are some celebrity rivals who smoked the peace pipe on both stages

Shatta Wale & Stonebwoy

The 2019 Ashaiman to the World concert would forever be recorded in history as the first night two rivals turned friends performed together on one stage. Ever since the two got together after the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards fall out, fans have been expecting a concert to be organized in their names in anticipation of seeing the two cement their friendship and they didn’t disappoint.

The duo then went ahead to thrill fans with one of the best great performances patrons might have seen on the night

It was a nice sight to behold when Sister Derby, mounted the stage to perform with her former boyfriend, Medikal at his ‘Welcome to Sowutuom’ maiden concert.

What many may have noticed was that as former lovers, they were sure not to have any intimate act on stage to raise rumors of them wanting to come back together.

Strongman and Medikal

Rapper Strongman Burner was one of the many artists that lighted up the evening at the first Welcome to Sowutuom concert put together by rapper Medikal. Strongman and Medikal breathed new life into rap music in Ghana after going “head to head” with two diss tracks each within 48-hours which excited social media a few months ago.

Medikal initiated the attack when he released, ‘To Whom It May Concern’ and Strongman replied with, ‘Don’t Try’. Medical returned with more fire in a new song dubbed ‘Last Burial’ which attracted another reply from Strongman titled, ‘Immortal’.

In a message on her Instagram page, she thanked her long-time rival for the support she has been giving her man and herself all this while.
