Shatta Michy replies John Dumelo over his comment on legalizing polyandry

Popular socialite an owner of Michy’s Hideout, Michelle Diamond has responded to John Dumelo’s call for bigamy and polyandry to be legalized.

According to Michy, she will be comfortable with having five husbands should polyandry be legalized in Ghana.

In an Instagram story sighted by YEN.com.gh, Michy made fun of John Dumelo’s call for bigamy and polyandry to be legalized.

Michy took a screenshot of John Dumelo’s post that he later deleted and responded by writing “So John thinks polyandry should be legalized, but can men actually take it?? I want 5 husbands then, 1 will get boring.” Michy’s comment is somewhat funny as women in this part of the world are expected to have only one husband.



However, society seems to be silent on married men having girlfriends outside their marriage; what John Dumelo termed as ‘side chic.’

John Dumelo has come under heavy criticism after posting on Instagram that bigamy and polyandry should be legalized.

According to the ace actor and NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, married men without legalization of bigamy already have girlfriends so it should be legalized.

John Dumelo claimed that in addition to the law allowing men to have multiple wives, women should be allowed to also marry more than one husband.
