Hearts of Oak are set to lose live-wire Joseph Esso after they agreed to a transfer fee of $100,000 with Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman, according to a media report.
Esso has been superb for both Hearts of Oak and the Black Stars B in the year under review.
His performance for both club and country has aroused a lot of interest from rival clubs and teams outside the country but it seems Sudanese heavyweights Al Hilal Omdurman are in a comfortable lead after meeting the financial demands of the Phobians according to Kumasi-based radio station, Fox FM.
The 23-year-old poacher missed Sunday’s President’s Cup defeat against Asante Kotoko —fuelling talks of his imminent departure.
He will not feature in the upcoming 2019/20 Ghana Premier League as the Phobians seriously search for his replacement.
