Robbers attack traders on Bibiani forest road

A gang of suspected armed robbers Monday dawn attacked and robbed traders travelling from Sefwi Juaboso to Kumasi to buy goods for their trading activities.

The robbers, according to a victim Maame Joe, first shot into the tyre of their vehicle forcing the driver to stop in the middle of the Bibiani forest around 5:30 am after which they robbed them at gunpoint.



None of the victims was hurt in the attack.

The driver had to abandon the journey after the attack returning the passengers to Sefwi juaboso.
