Omane Boamah eyes Mpraeso seat?

Former Minister of Communications Dr Edward Omane Boamah may be lacing his boots to contest the 2020 parliamentary elections as NDC’s candidate for Mpraeso Constituency.

Posters of the former NUGS President are already making rounds on social media.

He has yet to comment on the posters but it is clear the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will give the former cabinet minister the greenlight to contest the polls.

The Mpraeso Constituency has been a fortress for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with Seth Kwame Acheampong occupying the seat since 2009.

He succeeded Dr Francis Osafo Mensah, who had occupied the seat since 1996.
