Coronavirus is a warm-up to rapture – Music producer warns

Like some Christians, music producer Roro is of the view that coronavirus is increasing the intensity and frequency of events prophesied in the Bible which will lead to the end of the world, hence is entreating all to repent and save their souls.

He posits that the coronavirus outbreak as the beginning of worst things to happen in the world and it is imperative people changed from their evil ways or perish.

“The funny thing is, this is just a warm up just to prepare your mind to what’s going to happen in this world if you refuse to accept Christ as your personal savior,” he said in a video clip on Facebook.

“God is cautioning us… I know there are a lot of people who will not even believe it if God appears. Until they feel the hell fire, they won’t believe anything… A time will come if you don’t have the mark of the beast which is the 666, you can’t sell, you can’t buy, you can’t do anything. This is preparing us to it.”

In Matthew 24: 4-8, Jesus while answering what will be the sign of His coming and of the end of the age said: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”

Declared pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO), coronavirus has killed more than 7,000 people, sickened over 115,000 and spread to 75 countries and regions worldwide.

The outbreak has messed up many economies. Shops, factories have been shut down in some parts of the world.

Ghana is currently faced with six confirmed cases of the widespread virus, with over 150 people having had contact with the affected persons being observed.

President Akufo-Addo on March 15, 2020, issued a directive that all outdoor events including funerals, church activities and naming ceremonies, be suspended. Schools have also been asked to close down temporarily for a period of 4 weeks.

These, according to Akufo-Addo, forms part of precautionary measures to fight the virus and prevent any more spread after the 6 confirmed cases in Ghana.
