HON KENNEDY AGYAPONG DONATES MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO ASSIN FOSO MUNICIPAL HEALTH DIRECTORATE TO FIGHT CORONAVIRUS.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has donated several medical supplies to the Assin Foso Municipal, Assin South and Assin North Health Directorates to help the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The items were, 100 Veronica buckets 14,500 facemasks, 12,000 hand gloves, 30 gallons of hand sanitizer, 200 PPEs , 10 hospital beds, 100 box’s of tissue papers and 100 liquid soaps.

According to the MP, the items should be used by frontline workers in the 3 Assin’s as the nation fight against the COVID 19 virus.

Hon Ken Presenting the items to the health directorates explained that, gesture formed part of his
widow’s mite’ to complement government’s effort to save lives in the country as the pandemic persists.

He also ask the good people of Assin to abide by the presidents directive of social Distancing to avoid contracting the virus and edged all to stay in their homes if you have nothing to do outside.

Receiving the items on behalf the health directorate the municipal chief executive for Assin Foso Municipal Assembly Hon Nicholas Fiifi Baako thank the MP for his kind gesture in this critical time when Ghana is faced with the challenge of fighting the COVID 19 Epidemic which has taken the world by storm. Hon Fiifi Baako went ahead and explain the preparedness of the Assembly and the health directorate and its readiness to fight the virus.
