Hon Martha Kwayie Manu support Three 3 Health Institutions with PPE’s In the Juaboso District

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sefwi Juaboso, who also double as District Epidemic Response Committee Chair person, Hon Martha Kwayie Manu on Tuesday May 19 has donated a bunch of Personal Protective Equipment PPE’s to 3 Health Institutions in the area as a move to help prevent the spread of Corona virus pandemic.

The beneficial health Institutions includes, Sefwi Boinzan Anglican Clinic, Seventh Day Adventist Hospital Sefwi Kofikrom, and Bonsu Nkwanta Health Centre.


The following protective items were distributed to each of the health facilities , Veronica buckets with a stand, Gun thermometers, alcohol base hand sanitizers , bundle of tissue papers, toilet rolls , nose masks, dust bins , liquid soap safety boot , overall and many more to help equipped the health facilities to help them fight and protect the people from contracting the virus.
The DCE said, with the support of the assembly, they aimed to stop the rising of covid 19 suspected cases within the district. Although they have not recorded any case.

She however, urged the people to adhere to the government directives such as wearing of nose masks, regular washing of hands with soap, the use of hand sanitizer and also social distancing observance should be their priority because Covid 19 is real.

The Physician assistant in charge of Boinzan Anglican Clinic,  Mr Samuel Anarfo- Wobbey who received the package said they are happy to have these items because , since the Covid-19 outbreak, these are the first PPE’s to be received so he lauded the DCE.

Main while, the district director of health Dr Sertina Alipo also commended the DCE for her restless effort put in place to help them curb the spread of Covid -9 pandemic, she thanked the hon Martha for the kind gesture.
