Duncan Williams’s son arrested by US authorities for mental evaluation

Son of Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Daniel has been picked up by US security officials after he went live on Instagram to disclose certain sensitive information about himself and the family.

Daniel was picked up while he was streaming at his home in Virginia.

The Police officers, numbering about five made the arrest at the behest of the Duncan Williams family in order to take him to the hospital for a mental evaluation.

Earlier, spokesperson for the family disclosed that Daniel Duncan-Williams is ill with acute Bipolar disorder, a condition he has been battling with for the past six years.

Bishop Ebenezer Obodai indicated that the son of the General Overseer of Action Chapel International had relapsed due to his failure to continue his prescribed medications.

“Through the family, Daniel has undergone the very best medical interventions, treatments and hospitalizations, yet he still experiences relapses when he does not continue [with] his prescribed medication,” part of the statement read.

Bishop Obodai explained further that, although some of his conduct during such periods of relapse are obscene and abhorrent, it must be understood that he has a serious illness and “is not of himself.”

“The Archbishop has prayed all over the world for nations, leaders, pastors, families, mothers and laypeople and at this time, he asks that you join in prayer for Danny and the family. We are believing, with God on our side, that Daniel will come out of this stronger and with a testimony to the glory of God,” the statement further reads.

Daniel got social media buzzing and ended up at number one on Twitter trends when videos of some obscene activities hit the internet while he was also livestreaming to make some revelations about himself and the family.
