Western North NASARA Branch of NPP honours the national NASARA coordinator.

The Western North Nasara Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has honoured the National Nasara Coordinator Hon Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa as “Mainasara 1 ” or “Nkɔsoɔhene” of Nasara in the said region.

Hon Abdul Aziz Mainasara 1 was presented with a brand new “Batakari” as a symbol of office at the launch of the Nasara Covid 19 We Care Campaign in Sefwi Wiawso the capital of the region where he met all the Nasara Coordinators within the region.

Speaking with liberty fm reporter Amponim Boadi after the presentation, he expressed his gratitude for such an unexpected honour given him by Western North Nasara Coordinators.

Moreover, he stated that they have taken their members through workshops on both prevention of Covid 19 and how to mobilize people for the NPP in the upcoming election, adhering to all the safety protocols put in place by the government. He added that PPEs have been provided to the various Coordinators to be used to cater for the Zongo communities.

That not withstanding, the Western North Regional Nasara Coordinator Alhaji Alhasan Rahman also explained the reason behind the honour given the Hon Abdul Aziz Mainasara 1 that his performance compared to all past National Coordinators is unpresidented.
