GFA scraps ex-gratia for ExCo; Okraku to receive GHC12k monthly pay

The Congress of the Ghana Football Association has approved a GHC12,000 monthly allowance for the President of the Association Kurt Okraku.

The amount was among other compensation packages proposed by the ad-hoc committee of the Association.

Having approved the recommendations, the FA Vice President, Mark Addo, will also earn GH¢7,000 while the rest of the Executive Council members take home GH¢4,000 monthly.

However, the $15,000 ex-gratia Executive Committee members under former FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi earned at the end of their tenure has been scrapped.

Starr sports checks at Congress also revealed that other emoluments such as per diems of $500 and $400 per day for foreign travels of the President and Vice President have been accepted.

Meanwhile, ExCo members will be on $300 for foreign travels and flights should be on a business class including the president and his vice.
