COVID-19: Death toll now 294; active cases drop to 628

Nine more people infected with COVID-19 in Ghana have died taking the country’s death toll from 285 to 294.

An update by the Ghana Health Service also indicated that only 29 new cases have been recorded bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 45, 601.

However, active cases stand at 628 with 44, 679 recoveries/discharges.

Four regions namely; Upper East, North East, Savannah, and Northern region have no active cases.
