INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS IN OFFINSO SOUTH ARE NDC PROJECT ~ PARAMOUNT CHIEF HINTS.

The Offinso Paramount Chief, Nana Wiafe Akenten (lll) says the NDC party deserves commendation for the number of developmental projects executed in the area under the erstwhile governance of John Dramani Mahama.

Addressing the NDC delegation led by the party’s running mate at his palace on Thursday, 15th October 2020, the Paramount Chief pronounced that almost all the infrastructural projects in Offinso South constituency are being executed by the NDC flag bearer.

According to the traditional council, the Offinso inner asphalted road network, Offinso Court, Auditorium at Offinso training college were all initiated by Mr. John Mahama when he was in office.

The chief mentioned that he is not running to the NDC for favours, but rather, endorsing the eye saw infrastructural projects by the NDC in the municipality, meaning that, he does not engage in partisan politics.

The Offinsomanhene says the Offinso traditional council uphold the chieftaincy institution neutral in all partisan affairs whilst the development of Offinso stands as their priority.

Nana Wiafe Akenten added that, the traditional leaders in the area will continue to be assertive and play the role expected of them in national development as custodians of Offinso land.

However, he acknowledged former president Kuffour for constructing Kumasi to Techiman highway linking through his enclave and the creation of Offinso North district within his jurisdiction.



Addressing party supporters at Offinso Abofour as part of her tour of the Ashanti Region, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang mentioned that voting NDC means you have voted for development.

The National Democratic Congress running mate told Offinso Time FM’s Journalist, Kaakyire Kwasi Afari in her address that the next NDC administration is dedicated to working in favour of all electorates, irrespective of status and political affiliation.

Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang said the NDC involved several people from the grassroots in the compilation of its manifesto.

She called on the NDC party members in Offinso South to vote massively for John Mahama and the constituency parliamentary candidate, hon. Haruna Yussif to continue the good works for Offinso South.
