Threatening independent parliamentary candidate to sefwi Wiawso seat remanded for four days.

The independent parliamentary candidate for sefwi Wiawso, Hon Martin Bonye has yesterday remanded following the alleged pulling out a gun on some Npp party support and his resistance to appear before the honourable court when a letter was served to him.

For his refusal to appear the court a bench warrant was served for his arrest the Sefwi Wiawso district magistrate court for the aforementioned political violence.
The lawyer of the first accused person told the court that, the accused person did not mean to disrespect the court when he was to appear on Monday.
He continued that, his failure was due to his health conditions which he left sefwi Wiawso to see his private doctor and not to lie to the court he provided medical report sighed by his doctor

The surprise of the camp of Hon Martin Bonye they said, some of their supporters were butchered after Martin Bonye has filed his nomination at the E. C of at Wiawso which during the violence they set their eye on one ( Bongo) the son of the incumbent MP Hon Dr kwaku Afriyie and upon seeing that, they think it is politically motivated. If not been that how come those perpetrators are walking around Wiawso without any arrest when they report the incidents to the police but rather arrest those butchered members from their camp while they must be receiving treatment they stated.
Upon all this excuses during the court hearing it did not sound to the court which the who sat on the case ordered the police to Martin Bonye at police custody for four days and reappear before court in Tuesday 2020.
Currently, Hon Martin Bonye has been relocated to Bibiani district police station.
