ANY SECURITY OPERATIVES WITHOUT UNIFORM DEPLOYED TO OTI REGION, WILL BE RESISTED, NPP SHOULD BE WARNED

The NDC in Oti region will resist any security operative without uniform in Oti region, by every means, we will block any hoodlum or hooligan deployed to mistreat our people before/during and after the election.

We are all aware state security operatives are identified with uniforms, hence we won’t seat aloof and allow the Npp and their mother serpent of corruption and insecurity Akuffo Addo, bites our people in this region.

The Npp can try that nonsense of political intimidation in other regions but they should not try us here in Oti, we will resist them one time!

No security operative without uniform will taste peace in oti region, the region will not tolerate unskilled, untrained and indiscipline security operatives.

We shall act on article 13(1)(2)(a) of 1992 constitution which states that: No person shall be deprived of his life intentionally, except in the exercise of the execution of a sentence of a court in respect of a criminal offence under laws of Ghana of which he has been convicted

13(2) A person shall not be held to have deprived another person of his life in contravention of clause (1) of this article if that other person dies as the result of lawful act of war or if that other person dies as the result of use of force to such an extent as is reasonably justifiable in the particular circumstances



13(2)(a)for the defence of any person from violence or property

13(2)(c) for the purpose of suppressing a riot insurrection or mutiny

we shall act according to the above constitutional provisions to defend ourselves and properties against any form of political intimidation from unskilled and untrained Npp security operatives without uniform deployed to oti region without fear of favor.

If the Npp is dreaming of using that of their political violence rehearsal at Ayawaso west Wuogon bye election here in oti, then I’m sorry to tell them, Oti is a no go area for that nonsense to happen.

We shall also ensure that article 15(1) of the 1992 constitution which states: the dignity of all persons shall be invoilable and 15(2) which states: No person shall whether or not he is arrested, restricted or retained be subjected to (a)torture, or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, is protected here in this region during, and after this election.

The above constitutional provisions is what the highest law of the land has for us in Oti region and we shall hold them in a high esteem and obey them as legit citizens and not spectators.

We are prepared for this election and nothing will stop us from winning the 8 seats in this region.
