The Minister for Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah, has announced the return of football fans to the various stadia across the country.
However, all stadia that will host Ghana Premier League and Division One League matches must be filled to 25% of their capacity.
President Akufo-Addo in September last year announced that football fans would return in October, 2020 with GPL and Division One League matches admitting 25% of the stadium capacity as government eased COVID-19 restrictions.
But a spike in cases in the country forced the government to temporarily suspend the return of football fans.
The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League which is currently ongoing has been played under closed doors since football activities resumed in October last year.
