Bridget Otoo commends Nana Aba over her restraint in Anyidoho interview

Outspoken Ghanaian journalist Bridget Otoo says she would have acted differently if she was in Nana Aba’s seat as host of Starr FM’s Starr Chat when she interviewed maverick politician Koku Anyidoho.

The CEO of the Attah Mills Institute threatened to walk out of the interview when Nana Aba asked if he wished his wife on the recently celebrated International Women’s Day.

An obviously fuming Koku Anyidoho stood up to take his leave, but Nana Aba quickly apologized and the former NDC deputy general secretary resumed his seat to continue the conversation.

He said “I will walk out of the studio, don’t annoy me. If you want me to disturb you, I will go. If you want to see the other side of me, you will see it. I don’t take no hostages;”

But Bridget Otoo says she wouldn’t have apologized. Reacting to the incident via her Twitter page, she wrote “Nana Aba asked Koku if he reached out to his female friends and his wife on ‘International Women’s Day, Koku Anyhidoho becomes angry and visibly shaking and threatened to leave the studio!!! I don’t have that kind of restraint @thenanaaba had!”

The incident has been trending on Twitter for the past 24 hours, with many social media users applauding the host for exercising restraint and comporting herself in the most professional manner.

Starr Chat was previously hosted by the CEO of EIB, Bola Ray, and currently hosted by the General Manager of Starr FM and GHOne TV, Nana Aba Anamoah.

The personality profile show aires on Starr FM every Wednesday from 7:00 pm- 8: 30pm.
