Young Apostles assure sponsors Ashfoam of improve performances

Division One League Zone One campaigner’s Young Apostles have expressed gratitude to their sponsors Ashfoam Ghana Limited for their immense support to the team over the years.
Speaking after the management members and the playing body of the team were guided on a tour of the Ashfoam Showroom on Thursday (April 15, 2021) in Accra, the Executive Chairman of the club, Mr Samuel Anim-Addo said the visit was to show appreciation to Ashfoam.

“We are here to show appreciation to our sponsors (Ashfoam) for their support over the years, going back to Baby Jet Promotions, Baby Jet Boxing bouts and Baby Jet U-16 Tournament in 2018 where they gave us cash and other products,” Mr Anim-Addo said.

“Currently, they sponsor the senior team and our youth team (Great Somers Academy) and I must say we value their support; so we decided to come and show appreciation for what they have done for us”.

He also assured that the club would repay the faith reposed in them by finishing among the top three teams in their zone.


The Head of Marketing and Communications of Ashfoam, Nana Yaw Ampem-Darko Antwi said the decision to partner with Young Apostles was motivated by its larger Corporate Social Responsibility initiative which is centred on youth development.

“Ashfoam has a policy which focuses on youth development and that is the youth development policy where we look out for young people engaged in sports and support them at all elevels.

“Our aim is not only to make money from our products but to see the youth of Ghana develop and attain their full potential.

Centre-back Suleman Adomako and forward Emmanuel Mensah in separate interviews also expressed gratitude to Ashfoam, assuring them of improved performance in the second round of the DOL.

Seventh-placed Young Apostles will resume their DOL league campaign on April 18, 2021, with a trip to Sunyani Coronation Park to face Nkoranza Warriors SC.
