Final year SHS student commits suicide at school dining hall

A 16-year-old final year student of Miracles Senior High School in Sunyani in the Bono Region has committed suicide by hanging.

The student identified as Leticia was found hanging dead in the school dining hall by her colleagues on Monday, May 17, 2021, around 9:45 pm.




The Sunyani municipal police service has deposited the body at the morgue of the Sunyani regional hospital for autopsy.

The reason behind her action is unknown and investigation has commenced to unravel it.
