Women Are Super Heroes – NellaMich Replies Wendy Shay

Young afrobeat songstress, NellaMich, has responded to Wendy Shay’s comments that women are emotional, by admonishing women not to accept such tags.

Wendy Shay, speaking on a show at Joy FM, is recorded to have said that, “women are emotional and cannot attain great feat in society.”

This, she explained that, women are emotional and ought to strive harder and go the extra mile before they can make it to the top.

These statements, however, did not sit too well with the afrobeat star, who admonished Ghanaian women to ignore those assertions and urged them to rather be daring in the pursuit of their dreams.

According to NellaMich, women should not succumb to their emotional traumas but rather defy the odds to enable them do exploits with their peculiar God-given talents because women are naturally born good managers in every facet of life.

“Wendy Shay says women are emotional beings, but NellaMich sees women as super heroes,” she stated.

The afrobeat singer also charged women to take more challenging roles in society because they have all the abilities to make positive changes wherever they find themselves.

“When you give a woman an opportunity to be a leader in any role, the success result is always 99 per cent,” she said, adding women of the 21st century were born leaders, hence should be accorded the needed support in whatever role they assume.

“Women in the music industry must be given special attention and support because they are best entertainers and work harder to be in the limelight,” the UPSA Level 300 student underscored.

The self-acclaimed queen of afrobeat encouraged women in the music industry to continue doing the extraordinary and by so doing, they would successfully break every herculean barrier in their path.

The ‘Smile for me’ and ‘Kokobi’ hitmaker admonished women never to see themselves as weaker vessels but rather see themselves as the strongest creatures on the planet because they combine a lot of work outside their professional duties.
