His Excellency the president of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo tour Western North region and thanked electorates for their support on 2020 December 7 elections.

Speaking to the media 06/09/2021 on liberty FM Host Yaw Omono Asamoah He disclose that, He has officially commission the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) for WIAWSO and said He is very happy for the people of Western North region to calling the (RCC) ” WIAWSO JUBILEE” house.

The Agric sector contribute major production in the country and international especially cocoa, for recent reduction of cocoa production in Western North region and Ghana as a whole. “Cocoa is a major industry in Ghana” measure put in place for cocoa production are cocoa rehabilitation project on going, replanting, cash crop and killing cocoa disease.

Farmers pension scheme schedule and the youth in to farming should cultivate the habit of serving and contributing to the national economy as their priority.

He further said roads are one of major project put in place for the enhancement of much better roads network. Western North is the source of a lot wealth to country especially cocoa and rubber.

He disclose that he has retain Hon. Amoah Yawson as DCE for Akontombra constituency.

He advised that, the regional coordinating council should make sure the Constitutional instrument is strictly enforce for the betterment of the region.
