Ghana has dropped one place to the 53rd position in the latest FIFA rankings for the month of September.
This comes on the heels of the country’s poor showing in the opening two World Cup qualifiers, beating Ethiopia and losing to South Africa in their first 2 games.
The Black Stars are currently seventh in Africa, maintaining their position from the August ranking behind Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, and Egypt.
Ghana will face Zimbabwe in a double header in the next 2022 World Cup qualifiers next month.
