A/R: Bus in flames after crashing into Kia truck at Akumadan

A bus travelling from Techiman in the Bono East Region to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on Tuesday, 2 November went up in flames when it crashed into a Kia Truck.

The accident occurred in the early hours of the day at Akomadan also in the Ashanti Region.

There were passengers aboard the bus when the accident occurred.

There are no reports of casualties.

The accident comes a day after 17 persons died in an accident at Offinso-Abofour in the region on Monday, 1 November 2021.

The accident involved a loaded Trailer with logs travelling towards the South and a Sprinter bus travelling with passengers aboard towards the North.
