*Budget* 2022 was intended by the president to eliminate the hardship in the country which came about by the pandemic (covid-19). By this the government removed road tolls to replace rest-stop point at toll boots centers for hawkers who do their businesses unabated.
He further said the president has no intention to punish Ghanaians on Levy’s, for instance E-LEVY mentioned in the budget by Hon Ken Ofori Atta does not affect the less privileged who transfer small amount of money using mobile money in the country. It is only to help monitor and regulate business taxes in the country purposely for better living standard, he explained.
The Hon. Minister will make sure that taxes are paid properly through digitalization and also make sure that Ghanaians in the Western North region also benefit from the taxes.
