NIA boss to appear before parliament tomorrow

Parliament has summoned the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Identification Authority (NIA), Professor Ken Attafuah, to appear before it.

The NIA boss is scheduled to appear in parliament on Wednesday, 23 February 2022.

The NIA boss will be expected to touch on the ongoing Ghana Card registration.

The registration exercise for the Ghana card has been characterised by long queues.

This follows the approval of the Ghana card as the only identification for the ongoing SIM card reregistration which ends in March 2022.
