E/R: Concern grassroot supporters of NPP wants security protection for Chairman Cudjoe

A group sympathetic to the governing New Patriotic Party in the Eastern Region by the name of Concern Grassroot is calling for the security protection for Mr. Kwadow Boateng Agyemang also known as Chairman Cudjoe, the Eastern Regional Chairman hopeful of the party over a comment made an Accra-based journalist.

According to the group, its attention has been drawn to a post making rounds on social media by one Kwabena Bobie Ansah, radio political show host on Accra FM, an Accra-based radio station.

Mr. Yaw Acheampong, the Coordinator for the group made this call in a statement issued on Monday 23, 2022.

The statement said the publication by the pro-National Democratic Congress (NDC) journalist allegedly urged the NDC party thugs to do anything within their might to stop Chairman Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang from winning the Eastern Regional chairmanship race of the NPP slated for this weekend.

‘As party members from the Eastern Region, we deem this post not only threatening but also a move by our political rival NDC to harm Chairman Cudjoe and also infiltrate our elections with their thugs, the statement said.

CONCERN GRASSROOT OF NPP EASTERN REGION CALLS FOR SECURITY PROTECTION FOR CHAIRMAN CUDJOE

Our attention has been drawn to a post making rounds on social media by one Kwabena Bobie Ansah radio political show host on Accra FM a local radio station in Accra.

The said publication by the pro-NDC Journalist is urging the NDC party thugs to do anything within their might to stop Chairman Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang (Chairman Cudjoe) from winning the Eastern Regional Chairmanship race for our great NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY which is slated for this weekend.

As party members from the Eastern Region, we deem this post not only threatening but also a move by our political rival NDC to harm Chairman Cudjoe and also infiltrate our elections with their thugs.

We are calling on our National Executives as a matter of urgency to give adequate security protection to Mr. Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang.

Again, we also calling on the Inspector-General of Police to immediately invite the outspoken Journalist to question him on his post which we deem life-threatening to Chairman Cudjoe who is tipped to win the upcoming Elections.

The NDC in the Eastern Region is shocked how Chairman Cudjoe has gained ground and how he will subsequently annex the three (3) seats (Ayensuano, Upper Manya Krobo, and Akwetia) we lost to the NDC in the 2020 Elections.
