Terrific child singer, Foto Copy, has revealed that out of excitement, he couldn’t sleep the night when dancehall artiste Shatta Wale phoned his team to feature his song.
Eight-year-old Kallai Nana Kwaakye is a sensational performer, songwriter, rapper, and singer. Afrobeat and highlife are his strongholds.
The young rapper narrated how he had a Shatta Wale feature on his song to Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM’s Anigye mmere entertainment and lifestyle show.
“Two days before that day, Shatta called, and out of excitement, I couldn’t sleep the whole night. There was no water in the pool. But I stood in that space throughout the call,” he narrated.
Foto Copy further revealed that he never imagined collaboration with Shatta Wale. So when his team told him that the self-acclaimed dancehall king wanted to be on his song, it was a pleasant surprise to him.
“He called my team and told them he wanted to work with me. Because I was not in a good mood when they notified me, I thought they just wanted me to be cheerful. And my dad, too sometimes, makes jokes, so I thought he was making it up.
“I was very excited because that was the first time he spoke to me on phone. Shatta is a good man and a great musician. His songs are likeful to me, and I love his stagecraft,” the young chap concluded.
Foto Copy is out with a new jam dubbed “Tomorrow” ft South African legendary artist Uhuru.
