Black Stars midfielder Tariqe Fosu has joined Stoke City on loan from Brentford for the season.
The 26-year-old Ghana international, who can play in midfield or as a wing-back, becomes Stoke’s eighth summer signing.
He joined Brentford from Oxford United in January 2020 and has been plagued by injuries since his arrival in west London.
Fosu has made 21 league appearances for the Bees, but only one since they were promoted to the Premier League in 2021.
This summer, Stoke added Aden Flint, Josh Laurent, Harry Clarke, Liam McCarron, Gavin Kilkenny, Dwight Gayle, and Will Smallbone to their squad.
Fosu, born in London, has played four matches for Ghana and scored one goal.
