As the Founder of Brave Connect, a social enterprise designed to solve menstrual health hygiene problems in Ghana, Tracy is big on carting one’s path in life.

In an exclusive interview with Berla Mundi, the Financial Literacy advocate shared what made her husband stand out among her suitors.

Tracy Sarkcess said, “You know, my husband, sometimes I don’t know how to describe him, but he is someone who has been blessed with vision. And he’s someone who can also create a vision and tell you what he sees.

“As a woman, when you realise you have someone like that who also has his head in the right place. And it’s not about all the other fluff but really about you, the person, then I think you would know within you that he is the right person. That was what did it for me.”

Working as a media strategist, Tracy continued to reveal that she thought she could persuade Sarkodie to leave the music business and join her abroad. But her husband remained dedicated to his calling.

“No, to be honest, I didn’t. In my mind, I thought maybe, at some point, I’ll be able to convince him to come along with me to Germany. I wasn’t so sure about the music.”

According to Sarkodie’s wife, they have known each other since they were children living in the same neighbourhood. She mentioned that although Sarkodie had shown interest in her through her cousin, they did not get together until she returned to the country. And they’ve been inseparable since.
