Bantama is no more NPP stronghold – Aspiring NDC PC vows to win seat

An aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bantama Constituency, Kwadwo Addai Dapaah, has indicated that the party is prepared to battle it all out with the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the seat.

Mr Addai Dapaah explained that this will be in line with his party’s ultimate goal to cling power in 2024 to free the people of Bantama and Ghana at large from the excruciating economic hardship the NPP has bedeviled the country with.

He explained that “gone are those days when Bantama was declared as the ‘World Bank’ of votes for the NPP, now the NDC has positioned itself to whisk the seat from the NDC just like we won the seat in 1992. So, Bantama is no more the stronghold of NPP. We will match them boot for boot come 2024”.

The NDC Aspiring Member of Parliament for Bantama added that “the current economic woes has crippled many businesses in the Bantama Constituency and Ashanti Region at large, even some traders in the Bantama Constituency who campaigned for the NPP at the various market have regretted and therefore yearning for the NDC. So, we will bring all of them under the umbrella to wrestle power for the Bantama seat. Even if we don’t win the seat, we will increase the presidential votes which will in turn bring us to power in 2024”.

As part of its strategy to achieve this goal, the NDC has refurbished the old Bantama party office to attract new entrants and also to assist with administrative work to ensure victory in 2024.

The refurbished Bantama NDC party office was singlehandedly executed under the auspices of the aspiring Member of Parliament for the area, Kwadwo Addai Dapaah.

During the commissioning and handing over ceremony, Mr Addai Dapaah urged the party members especially grassroots to unite for a common front to wrestle power 2024.

Mr Addai Dapaah further urged the party members to ensure consistent maintenance to prolong the lifespan of the party office to serve as home for all and hope to win power 2024.
