Dr Kofi Amoah donates GH¢10K to MVP Academy

Ghanaian businessman Dr Kofi Amoah has made good on his promise by donating GHS 10,000 to MVP Academy, a football academy owned by 25-year-old Gideon Danquah.

The story was initially reported by 3Sports journalist Bill Eshun and after watching it air on TV3, Dr Amoah promised to support Danquah’s academy in Obuasi.

Dr Amoah, who previously headed Ghana’s football during the Normalisation era, urged others to join him in supporting the young “dreamer” and “helper”.

Despite having aspirations of becoming a professional footballer himself, Danquah now focuses on helping others achieve their goals through his MVP Academy.

Danquah travelled from Obuasi to Accra on Thursday, where he met with Dr Amoah who honoured his promise by donating GHS 10,000 to the academy. Accompanying Danquah to the office were 3Sports Head Thiery Nyann and Bill Eshun.
