GFA launches Football School to train stakeholders

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has recently established a football school to improve the abilities and capabilities of persons affected by the sport at various levels.

This project aims to provide comprehensive training and development opportunities for many football stakeholders.

The project which was launched on Tuesday at the GFA headquarters is carried out in partnership with prominent Ghanaian tertiary institutions and aims to provide comprehensive training and education for football administrators, agents, coaches, technical team members, and other professionals.

The inauguration of this football school underlines the GFA’s commitment to the long-term growth and prosperity of football in Ghana.

By investing in education and skill development, the association hopes to establish a long-term structure that will benefit the nation’s football landscape.

Kurt Okraku, President of the GFA, voiced his support for the idea, stressing its potential to raise football levels in Ghana.

He emphasized the significance of providing football stakeholders with the information and skills they need to properly navigate the sport’s evolving terrain.

The GFA School is set to provide specialised courses and training programs designed to meet the unique requirements of professionals engaged in diverse aspects of football. Whether individuals are involved in football administration, player representation, coaching, technical support, or have an interest in sports marketing and merchandising, the school aims to accommodate a broad spectrum of roles within the football community.
