Fred Nuamah, an aspiring parliamentary candidate under the banner of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ayawaso West Wougon constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has chosen to withdraw from the party’s primaries.
This decision, Mr. Nuamah stated, was a personal one, arrived at after thorough discussions with key stakeholders, free from any external influence.
In a letter directed to the party’s General Secretary, Mr. Nuamah underscored his conviction that the NDC should stand united as they approach the 2024 general elections.
Expressing his unwavering commitment to the NDC and the mission to rescue the country, he revealed that he places high importance on the party’s cohesion and the “President John Mahama project.”
Given his withdrawal, Mr. Nuamah has officially endorsed and thrown his full support behind his close friend and compatriot, Mr. John Dumelo, to contest as the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West-Wuogon constituency.
