West Ham United are on the verge of finalising an agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of defender Harry Maguire, with the deal estimated to be around £30 million.
While personal terms are expected to be straightforward, there are still some details to be ironed out regarding his departure from United.
The negotiations are progressing positively, and West Ham is cautiously optimistic about completing the signing. This comes after their initial £20 million bid for the English international was turned down last month.

Maguire participated in training with Manchester United on Wednesday, in preparation for their upcoming Premier League opener against Wolves on Monday.
As part of their contingency plan, Manchester United have been scouting several defenders, including Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice, in case they need to secure a replacement for Maguire.
The 30-year-old England international struggled for first-team opportunities at Old Trafford last season and has been stripped of the captaincy this season.
He is understood to be keen on the move with personal terms yet to be agreed but not expected to be a problem.
Maguire joined United in August 2019 for a world record £80m for a defender.
