Paintsil scores and receives red card in Europa League, Rahman shines for PAOK

Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil played a dual role of triumph and adversity as KRC Genk faced elimination in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers. In Thursday night’s match, Paintsil scored a goal but also received a red card, contributing to Genk’s elimination from the tournament.

Genk will now compete in the Europa Conference after previously switching from the Champions League to the Europa League. They will face Turkish side Adana Demirspor in Conference League’s final qualifying round, with Paintsil expected to miss the first leg due to suspension.
