Amakye Dede, Sarkodie Drop New Song

Renowned Ghanaian highlife musician, Daniel Amakye Dede, popularly known as Abrantie, is set to release his new single titled ‘I Have Been A Fool For You’ featuring award-winning rapper, Sarkodie.

This is the first collaboration between Amakye Dede and Sarkodie, and fans of both sides will remain expectant of the banger considering the difference in style of the two celebrated acts.

Amakye Dede claims that his latest song is among his best yet, praising it for its genuine African rhythm, silky vocals, and expertly written lyrics that would have listeners listening to it nonstop.

The new song with Sarkodie will be released on Friday, December 1, according to Abrantie, whose endeavours in the music business have undoubtedly inspired many musicians and music lovers.

He thinks that when the song published by Kwaku Mari Agya Paye of Agya Paye Records label is out, it would cross paths with other well-known songs.

The song, according to Amakye Dede, will be accessible globally on well-known foreign streaming services and digital music retailers.

Amakye Dede has collaborated with several elite performers, earning him a great deal of respect in the highlife community.

He clarified the reason he chose to include Sarkodie in his new song, saying, “Sarkodie is someone everyone wants to listen to.”

“Sarkodie and I had a fantastic performance some time ago in Kumasi and London, respectively. He’s excellent and respectful, which is why I decided to work with him,” he remarked.

The ‘Iron Boy’ hitmaker emphasised that music enthusiasts, particularly those who enjoy dancing, would undoubtedly have the song on their playlists.

As one of the celebrated highlife legends in Ghana today, Abrantie is well-known for his distinctive stage presence.

Having achieved incredible feats in the local music industry, Amakye Dede is credited with a number of songs such as ‘Handkerchief’, ‘Brebrebe Yi’, ‘Mensuro’, ‘Mabre’, ‘Broken Promises’, ‘Nsuo Amuna’, ‘Sokoo Na Mmaa Pe’, ‘To Be A Man Na War’, among others.

He has over 30 albums to his credit and has experimented with different genres; soca, calypso, lovers rock, and pop music.
