Hearts of Oak Board Member, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, insists they will continue to fight for the best for the club despite recent comments from former coach Martin Koopman and other critics.
Koppman alleged he faced several issues with the club’s board including their interference in his player selections for matchday.
However, the board in a presser on Monday, December 4, denied those allegations claiming they didn’t dictate to the 67-year-old while he was at the club.
The Dutchman’s comments are not the only ones that have put the club’s name in disrepute but there have been some others from fans as well as former coaches.
Nyaho-Tamakloe says the utterance will not have any effect on the board’s plans for the club.

“You should expect that you might have detractors as you move the club along. These negative comments will never deter us from achieving our objectives. That is, coming out with good results and continue building the infrastructure,” he said.
“Nobody in this country can say he knows Hearts of Oak better than me. For 100 years we had nothing to show…If Togbe [Afede] were to be a non-performer, I would never support him.”
Hearts have had a struggling start to the 2023/24 season suffering an exit from the MTN FA Cup while they are also eight points off the top spot in the Ghana Premier League.
