Manchester City are believed to be exploring the possibility of signing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United.
The Premier League champions according to reports from UK have joined the growing list of clubs interested in signing Ghana star.
Despite having four more years left on his contract with West Ham United, the Cityzens are keen on securing his services.
Kudus, who had a stellar debut season with West Ham, has attracted interest from several top clubs. Saudi Arabian outfits Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli, as well as Premier League giants Liverpool, have all shown interest in the 23-year-old midfielder. Manchester City’s entry into the race intensifies the competition for his signature, particularly with midfielder Kevin De Bruyne expected to leave the club this summer according to Caught Offside.
Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax for £39.5 million last summer and quickly proved his worth in the Premier League and Europa League. He scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in 48 appearances across all competitions, making him a standout performer for the Hammers.
His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, with reports linking him to top teams like Liverpool and now Manchester City. Kudus’ phenomenal form last season also earned him the Footballer of the Year award at the Ghana Football Awards 2024.
With the new European season approaching, Mohammed Kudus will undoubtedly be a top target in the transfer market.
West Ham United will face a challenge in retaining their star player as interest from elite clubs continues to mount.
