Ghana’s Black Princesses are set to conclude their training camp in Accra on Monday ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
The team has been undergoing intensive preparations in Cape Coast since June 27, focusing on tactical strategies, physical conditioning, and overall team cohesion.
A friendly match in Accra on Monday will serve as a final test before the squad departs for Colombia.
Ghana will compete in Group E alongside Austria, Japan, and New Zealand. The team is aiming to break new ground in the tournament after six previous unsuccessful attempts to advance beyond the group stage.
With recent victories at the 2023 African Games and the WAFU B Girls Cup, the Black Princesses are confident in their ability to make a significant impact on the world stage.
The tournament will start on August 31, with Ghana’s first game scheduled for September 2 against Austria at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogotá.
