Vision, family, my son motivate me to soldier on – Musician Kidi

Sensational Ghanaian musician Dennis Nana Dwamena affectionately Kidi says the lifeblood of his motivation to keep soldiering on in music is primarily his vision and close family.

The ‘Lomo Lomo’ hitmaker disclosed on Ultimate FM’s Morning Swing that there are days he does not feel like singing but the picture of his son, mother, and family would give him the kick to rise to the plate.

“One thing that motivates me is the vision of where I am trying to get to and my family, my son, my mom;…”

Days when I don’t feel like being an artist when I don’t feel like singing, when I think of all of these people, I wake up and soldier on,” he intimated.

Kidi however indicated that his biggest fear is poverty and a scare that penury would strip him of an opportunity to have fun and make an impact in society.

“My parents taught me early in life that having fun is part of this life. The life that I want to live with my loved ones and friends is one of merry-making and enjoying ourselves,”

“Without money, you cannot do that. You cannot also make an impact in other people’s lives,” he explained.

It was a big party when comedian Ato Pagh (Akoapolo; Events and Brands Manager and Icon Nana Benyin Anumel; Baby Porsh and SB hosted Kidi on Kumasi’s most hilarious radio show ‘Ultimate Morning Swing.’
