Asantehene urges peaceful elections as polls approach

With only sixteen days left until Ghana’s 2024 general elections, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has called for a peaceful electoral process, urging all parties to uphold stability and unity.



Speaking at the Manhyia Palace during a visit by Mr. Kofi Akpaloo, the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) flagbearer, Otumfuo underscored the importance of patience and respect for the election results.





Otumfuo voiced confidence in the country’s enduring peace and stability and appealed to all political parties to contribute positively to the electoral process.

In response, Kofi Akpaloo expressed optimism about his chances in the upcoming election and echoed the Asantehene’s call for a peaceful process.




He also took the opportunity to discuss his vision and policies for the nation if elected.
