2024 election held 7th, December nationwide in Ghana was really peaceful except some few places that witness few violence.

18 million registered voters cast their ballots at approximately 40,975 polling stations nationwide. Electorate has decided through democratic exercise where figures currently projected Mahama Dramani the winner and his close competitor Dr. Bawumia who congratulated him far ahead of electoral commission declaration, conceding defeat. 276 Members of Parliament election results indicated 188 seat for NDC party, 85 NPP and 3 for others.

Lawyer Emelia Ankomah won with a great margin making it simple for Dr. Festus Awuah who had a total vote cast of 19708 (44.02%) as against Lawyer Emelia 24966 (55.77%) votes to concede defeat.

This constituency is a strong hold of NPP party for years until date. The change implies the people desire for new leader believing lawyer Emelia Ankomah is the best to bring change in terms of development. She has served as municipal chief executive between 2012 to 2016 where people can attested to work done by her which includes asphat overlay throughout the municipality, Chip compounds, build High Court and the rest.
