Ampofo Ankrah appointed as National Sports Authority boss

President of the Ghana Beach Soccer Association, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has been appointed Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA).

With his vast experience in promoting beach soccer in Ghana, Ankrah’s appointment is regarded as a strategic step toward advancing the country’s sports industry.




As Director General, he will collaborate closely with Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams to develop, organize, promote, and oversee both competitive and social sports. Their joint efforts will emphasize health, fitness, recreation, national unity, and professionalism, contributing to sustainable wealth creation and infrastructure growth.
